矿产储量简称储量，矿山部门常称“矿量”，一般即指矿产的蕴藏量。矿产储量需按一定的工业指标要求与储量分类规定计算。在实际工作中，矿产储量的表示方式有矿石储量（简称矿石量）、金属储量（简称金属量）或有用组分储量、有用矿物储量等，多数以重量（吨、公斤、克拉）计，少数以体积（立方米）计。
