白茅别名:茅、茅针、茅根、茅草、茹根、兰根、地筋,拉丁学名:Imperata cylindrica (Linn.Beauv.))禾本科、白茅属多年生草本,具粗壮的长根状茎。秆直立,高30-80厘米,具1-3节,节无毛。根茎可入药。 白茅,春生芽,花苞时期的花穗称为谷荻,布地如针,故有茅针之称。
