疲劳骨折是健康的骨组织要发生骨折，非有巨大暴力不可。但在骨的某些相对纤细部位、或骨结构形态变化大的部位、都易产生应力集中，当受到较大时间的反复、集中的轻微伤力后，首先发生骨小梁骨折，并随即进行修复。但在修复过程中继续受到外力的作用，使修复障碍，骨吸收增加。反复这一过程，终因骨吸收大于骨修复而导致完全骨折。
目的探讨中学生胫骨疲劳和疲劳骨折的发病机理。
