电测深法（electrical sounding）包括电阻率测深和激发极化测深。resistivity sounding简称电测深法。它是在地面的一个测深点上（即MN极的中点），通过逐次加大供电电极，AB极距的大小，测量同—点的、不同AB极距的视电阻率ρS值，研究这个测深点下不同深度的地质断面情况。
