环节动物门（学名：Annelida）在动物进化上发展到一个较高的阶段，是高等无脊椎动物的开始，约有13000种。体外有由表皮细胞分泌的角质膜，体壁有一外环肌层和一内纵肌层。通常有几丁质的刚毛，按节排列。有头或口前叶，附肢有或无。闭管式循环系统，血液通常有呼吸色素。体腔按节由隔膜分成小室，裂体腔起源。世界性分布，见于各类生态环境，尤其在海洋、淡水或湿土中。
