物流仿真是指评估对象系统(配送中心、仓库存储系统、拣货系统、运输系统等)的整体能力的一种评价方法。 物流仿真是针对物流系统进行系统建模，并在电子计算机上编制相应应用程序，模拟实际物流系统运行状况，并统计和分析模拟结果，用以指导实际物流系统的规划设计与运作管理。物流仿真使用的建模方法有排队理论，Petri网，线性规划等。在中国，物流仿真技术还是个比较新的概念，大多数企业对物流仿真技术应用状况及其意义了解并不多。
