燥证是感受燥邪或机体津液亏损所表现的证候。是秋天的主气，故燥病多见于秋天。可分为外燥与内燥。外燥与气候环境有关，内燥则是由于体内精血减少，或过多用温燥药物或食物，或热性病后期，或汗、吐、下后所致。
