热电温度计是以热电偶作为测温元件,测得与温度相对应的热电动势,再通过仪表显示温度。热电温度计是由热电偶、测温仪表及补偿导线构成的。常用于测量300~1800℃的范围内的温度,在个别情况下,可测至2300℃的高温或4K的低温。热电温度计具有结构简单、准确度高、使用方便、适于远距离测量与自动控制等优点。因此,无论在生产还是在科学研究中,热电温度计都是主要的测温工具。
