烧绿石(pyrochlore)CaNb2O6F,又称黄绿石。含Nb2O5达到56%。当铌主要被钽置换时,则成为细晶石。常含钽、稀土元素、铀等。等轴晶系。晶体呈八面体,但多为不规则的粒状或致密块状集合体。褐色或黄绿色,也有少数为黑色。条痕淡褐或淡黄色。树脂光泽。硬度5.0-5.5。贝壳状断口。密度4.12-4.36。具有强放射性。产于基性岩、伟晶岩或碳酸岩中,往往与锆石、磷灰石、钙钛矿等共生,是提取稀有土元素、铌、钽及放射性元素的重要矿物原料。
