火山泥石流又称“火山泥流”，是指当火山雷雨降落时挟带火山碎屑物沿山坡向下流动的现象。当火山口为冰雪掩埋或蓄有水，火山喷发时因冰雪融化或积水溢出亦可形成泥石流。火山泥石流可造成灾害。
