演法法师俗名李在全， 1944年九月出生于四川绵竹，1981年在山西五台山出家，1984年依清定法师学法， 演法大和尚1986年随清定上师到昭觉寺至今，1998年担任该寺监院、管委会副主任。1999年清定上师圆寂后，主持寺庙全面工作。同时还担任中国佛教协会理事、省佛教协会副秘书长、市佛教协会副会长、成都市政协委员。 二000年八月，于康定南无寺得海公同学大吉活佛传法，获金刚上师位。 二00三年四月于石经寺由海公另一弟子万法师传临济正宗第四十七代和尚位
