渔药即渔用药品的简称，它是兽药的一种。渔药大多是由人药、畜禽药、农药移植而来，少部分是水产专用药。渔药虽然在一定程度上与人、兽药相似，它们在药物研制开发过程中对原料、安全性、分析方法的要求以及基本法规等方面的要求也有类似之处，但由于渔药作用的对象与人、兽有较大的区别(如温血性与变温性的区别)，渔药的使用方式、作用过程与作用效果等与兽药有较大的不同，它们在代谢、残留等方面有其特殊性。
