海鸬鹚（学名：Phalacrocorax Pelagicus）：俗名乌鹈。典型的海上鸬鹚。体长约70厘米，体羽黑色具光泽。脸红色，与红脸鸬鹚甚似，但繁殖期冠羽较稀疏而松软，脸部红色不及额部但脸颊红色较多，幼鸟及非繁殖期的鸟脸粉灰，体型略小。虹膜蓝色；嘴黄色；脚灰色。于海上无声。 栖息于海岸、河口地带。主要以鱼、虾为食，兼食少量的海藻、海带、海紫菜等。每年6月进入繁殖期，每窝产卵3-6枚，孵化期约28天左右。繁殖于阿拉斯加至西伯利亚及日本，越冬于美国的加州、日本南部及中国。
