海鸠（拉丁学名：Uria aalge，英文称guillemot，sea pigeon），有时也称“海鸽”，海雀科，因体形略似鸠鸽类鸟而得名。如我国可见的“扁嘴海雀”，亦称“短嘴海鸠”。生活于太平洋、大西洋北部，善潜水捕鱼。除繁殖时期外很少上岸。繁殖时选择悬崖边缘，一般每次仅产一卵。
