海底光缆，Submarine Optical Fibre (Fiber) Cable，又称海底通讯电缆，是用绝缘材料包裹的导线，铺设在海底，用以设立国家之间的电信传输。 海底光缆系统主要用于连接光缆和Internet，它分为岸上设备和水下设备两大部分，海底光缆即水下设备中最重要的也是最脆弱的部分。
