浮码头，是指用锚碇在岸边的、供船舶停靠的趸船组成的码头。又称“趸船码头”。用锚碇在岸边的、供船舶停靠的趸船组成的码头。由趸船、趸船的锚系和支撑设施、活动引桥和护岸组成。因趸船随水位作垂直升降，作为码头面的趸船甲板面与水面的高差基本不变。适用于水位变幅较大、掩护条件较好的客货码头、渔码头等。
