浓硫酸，俗称坏水，化学分子式为H₂SO₄，是一种具有高腐蚀性的强矿物酸。浓硫酸指质量分数大于或等于70%的硫酸溶液。浓硫酸还具有强腐蚀性：在常压下，沸腾的浓硫酸可以腐蚀除铱和钌之外所有金属（甚至包括金和铂），其可以腐蚀的金属单质种类的数量甚至超过了王水。硫酸在浓度高时具有强氧化性，这是它与稀硫酸最大的区别之一。同时它还具有脱水性，难挥发性，酸性，吸水性等。 与硝酸一样，浓硫酸的还原产物因还原剂强度，种类，量的不同可能为S，H2S或SO2。
