丁金山先生在《天道演化哲学》中认为： 法文化指人类改造自然及构建社会所依照的方法、惯例、标准、规程等组成的文化的总称。狭义的法文化特指社会强制力量强制执行的标准、规章、制度、法律等及其相关理论、程序、原则、标准、要求、执行组织与规定等共同组成社会管理文化。
无疑，他们都是从实际的或价值的角度对文化加以阐释，而格雷·多西（Gray L Dorsey）生造法文化”（Jurisculture）一词所体现的“安排秩序观念”（ordering idea） 也正是有这种意味。笔者所推崇的正是这样一些更具实际价值的定义。
