汽化冷却技术是利用水汽化吸热，带走被冷却对象热量的一种冷却方式。受水汽化条件的限制，在常规条件下汽化冷却只适用于高温冷却对象。对于同一冷却系统，用汽化冷却所需的水量仅为温升为10℃时水冷却水量的2%，且少用90%的补充水量，汽化冷却所产生的蒸汽还可以利用，或者并网发电。
