氧化期,是冶炼过程的一个反应阶段。电弧炉冶炼铸钢工艺除不氧化法冶炼外,熔化期结束后就应转入氧化期。 通常氧化期是指炉料熔清取样分析后到扒完氧化渣这一工艺阶段。氧化期的作业是充分利用钢液全熔时温度低的有利条件,迅速地造好流动性良好的泡沫氧化渣;利用加矿石或吹氧脱碳为手段,做到高温氧化,均匀激烈沸腾,自动流渣,达到去磷、去气体、去夹杂纯洁钢液的目的,同时要控制好氧化末期的钢液温度和终点碳,为还原期创造有利条件。
