殿试，又称“御试”、“廷试”、“廷对”等，是唐、宋、元、明、清时期科举考试之一。殿试由内阁预拟，然后呈请皇帝选定。会试中选者始得参与。目的是对会试合格区别、选拔官员等第。 殿试为科举考试中的最高一段。由武则天创制于神都紫微宫洛城殿，所以是从唐开始的。殿试第一名称为状元。
