桡骨远端骨折非常常见，约占平时骨折的1/10。多见于老年妇女，青壮年发生均为外伤暴力较大者。骨折发生在桡骨远端2～3cm范围内。常伴桡腕关节及下尺桡关节的损坏。
桡骨远端骨折及其发病概况桡骨远端骨折(Distal Radius Fractures)是指距桡骨远端关节面3cm之内的骨折,据统计其发病率约占急诊骨折病患的17%,且骨折涉及桡远关节面的病患占25%~[1].
