昆虫纲鳞翅目(Lepidoptera)果蛀蛾科(Carposini-dae)。又名桃蛀果蛾。果树害虫。为害桃、梨、花红、山楂和酸枣等。成虫体灰白或灰褐色，雌虫体长5～8毫米，翅展16～18毫米，雄虫略小。
