柏木脑，又称八氢-3,6,8,8-四甲基-1H-3a，7-亚甲基甘菊环-6-醇，属三环倍半萜类醇。天然存在于柏木油和桧叶油中。可用作香料，调配东方型香精用于化妆品，调配皂用香精及室内清香剂，以及化妆品定香剂。
以杉木根为原料通过水蒸气蒸馏法提取杉木精油，从杉木根精油中精制提取柏木脑，再以柏木脑为原料合成甲基柏木醚。
