枝角类(Cladocera)又简称“溞类”,水溞(注:该字读作zǎo,为早期水生生物学家自创新字,目前正确读音还未收入而只能借用sāo打字),俗称红虫,属无脊椎动物甲壳纲鳃足亚纲枝角目。其广泛分布于淡水、海水和内陆半咸水中,可以作为鱼类的饵料。 枝角类内部由消化系统、循环系统、呼吸系统、排泄系统、神经系统、生殖系统组成。温度和食物浓度对它的生长繁殖有影响。
