极化度又称可极化性，它表示成键的电子云在外界电场的作用下，发生变化的相对程度。极化度除了与成键原子的结构和键的种类有关外，还与外界电场强度有关。成键原子的体积越大，电负性越小，原子核对成键电子的束缚越小，键的极化度就越大。
