杠杆租赁是融资租赁的特殊形式之一。是承租人、出租人和贷款人三方之间的协议安排。特点是：承租人使用资产并定期支付租金。出租人购买资产，将其交付于承租人，并定期收取租金。但出租人的出资金额不低于该项资产价格的20%—40%。贷款人提供剩余的资金，并向出租人收取利息。这种贷款无追索权，一旦承租人违约，出租人没有义务向贷款人偿债，但贷款人可以通过两种方式保护自己：（1）对出租资产具有第一留置权；（2)若出租人发生债务违约，承租人必须将租金直接支付给贷款人。
