杜元，男，汉族，1962年生。1983年考入西安美术学院中国画系山水专业。1987年毕业，获艺术学学士学位。1987年至今，任教于兰州服装职工大学。1997年参加“兰州十人绘画作品展”兰州（甘肃省画院）--南京（江苏省美术馆）巡回展。国画"设色山水"被江苏省美术馆收藏。
计算结果表明，运用预测神经元方法所得到的线性预测系数，精度明显高于传统的杜宾算法和格型算法。
