无线电测向仪，是指一种能够测定无线电发射台方向的无线电接收仪器。可供船舶定位和搜索救助等之用。由天线、测角器、接收器、方向指示器和扬声器等部分组成。测向原理是以环状天线的8字方向图为基础，当环状天线转到接收机的声音最小（哑点）位置时，环状天线平面的垂直方向即为被测发射台的方向。通常采用目测式，作用距离白天为100nmile，夜间为50nmile,测向精度为士2°〜±5°。优点是设备简单，成本低，对发射台没有特殊要求，全球均可使用。
