新感觉派小说是20世纪我国第一个被引进的现代主义小说流派，主要作家有施蛰存、刘呐鸥、穆时英、叶灵凤，此外还有黑婴、禾金等。 1928年刘呐鸥创办《无轨列车》半月刊，开始了对日本新感觉主义文学的介绍，1932年至1935年，施蛰存主编大型文学期刊《现代》，为新感觉派小说提供了重要的发表阵地，新感觉派小说得以成长为中国最完整的现代主义小说流派。
