X线的物理学效应之一。能量较大的X线光子撞击到原子的轨道电子，仅将一部分能量给予被击脱电子，使其获得较大动能，而光子作用并没有消失，只是减少了一部分能量并改变前进方向，继续与其他原子相撞击的过程。散射效应又称康普顿效应。
