Paul advises Timothy, "Don’t letanyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example forthe believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity."

Timothy wasn't circumcised, they're going to be going through some Jewish areas, so Paul says, yeah, let's circumcise Timothy.
