技术密集型产业（technology-intensive industry ）又称知识密集型产业，介于劳动密集型和资金密集型产业之间的一种经济类型的产业部门，属于高技术产业部门。其特点是单位劳动力占用资金比劳动密集型产业多，比资金密集型产业少。在生产结构中，技术知识所占比重大，科研费用高，劳动者文化技术水平高，产品附加价值高，增长速度快。包括新兴的电子计算机工业、机器人工业、航天工业、生物技术工业、新材料工业等。
