息国，西周至春秋初期的诸侯国，姬姓，侯爵。 息国故城位于今河南息县城西南6公里的青龙寺一带，春秋初期为楚文王所灭，其地被楚国设置为县。今蔡州新息县是。庄十四年，楚灭之，子孙以国为氏。
