成人每分钟心率超过100次，称为心率过速。心率过速分生理性和病理性两种。生理性心动过速是很常见的，许多因素都影响心率，如体位改变、体力活动、食物消化、情绪焦虑、妊娠、兴奋、恐惧、激动、饮酒、吸烟、饮茶等，都可使心率增快。此外，年龄也是一个因素，儿童心率往往较快。
进而我们建立相应的线性和非线性的检测方法与算法，以帮助临床医生分析和诊断心率过速和心室纤颤。
