德兰(Andre DERAIN，1880—1954)是野兽派画家中重要的一员。早年在卡里埃画室学画结识了马蒂斯，其后又与费拉芒克共用一间画室，他们相互探讨艺术问题，为野兽派的创立提供了理论基础。
父母均擅长绘画，当时一些知名画家如博纳尔（Bonnardj、 德兰（Derain）、马尔凯（Margnet）也是家中常客，因此巴尔蒂斯从小便深受家庭艺术氛 围的熏陶。
