引力子,又称重力子,在物理学中是一个传递引力的假想粒子(仍未知是否真正存在)。两个物体之间的引力可以归结为构成这两个物体的粒子之间的引力子交换。为了传递引力,引力子必须永远相吸、作用范围无限远及以无限多的型态出现。在量子力学中,引力子被定义为一个自旋为2、质量为零的玻色子。
理论上的粒子,例如传递引力的引力子,也可能泄漏进入主体, 形成弦的闭合回路。
