庞薰琹（1906—1985），笔名鼓轩，江苏常熟人。我国著名画家，工艺美术家，工艺美术教育家。著有《中国历代装饰画研究》、《工艺美术设计》、《图案问题的研究》和《庞薰琹画辑》等。曾任中央工艺美术学院副院长、中国美术家协会理事。
论文一方面具体剖析了庞薰琹艺术思想的在不同时期的形成和转变；
