又称挤入构造。系地下较深处的密度较小的高塑性岩石（如岩盐、石膏、粘土等）在差异重力作用下向上拱起，刺穿上覆岩层而形成的一种构造。底辟构造一般包括三部分：①高塑性物质组成的底辟核，常呈现复杂的塑性变形；②核上构造，为上覆岩层隆起形成的穹隆或短轴背斜，常被断层复杂化；③核下构造，一般较简单。当底辟核为岩盐时，又称为盐丘构造。以岩浆为核而形成的类似构造，称为岩浆底辟。附图表示盐沉积物按箭头方向向上贯入，并把上覆岩层中的背斜切穿。
