平整场地是指室外设计地坪与自然地坪平均厚度在±0.3m以内的就地挖、填、找平，平均厚度在±0.3m以外执行土方相应定额项目。 平整场地按建筑物首层面积（地下室单层建筑面积大于首层建筑面积时，按地下室最大单层建筑面积）以平方米计算。
首先要挖掘及处置土方，其后是平整场地，原先的坡度必须减缓至新的仰角。
