布列塔尼语（Brezhoneg，法文叫Breton）是法国西部布列塔尼的少数民族语言，属于印欧语系的凯尔特语族（希腊文Keltoi凯尔特人）。使用人口约90万。这是欧洲大陆上唯一残存的凯尔特语言，但是不属于大陆凯尔特语系统（大陆凯尔特语已消亡）。它属于海岛凯尔特语系统。据语言学家推测它可能是科尼什语的一个方言。布列塔尼语最接近康沃尔语和威尔士语。 公元5世纪，来自北方的盎格鲁-撒克逊人屡次入侵不列颠诸岛，大批不列颠人移居现在法国西北的半岛地带,该地遂称不列颠尼（法国人称布列塔尼）,也称“小不列颠”（以别于“大不列颠”）。这一语言可作为英国在被盎格鲁 -撒克逊人征服之前的语言的参考资料。 布列塔尼语的最古老的词典为JehanLagadec编写的布列塔尼语-法语/拉丁文三语对照词典（Catholicon），1499年出版。这也是在法国土地发表的第一本词典。
