己酮可可碱（Pentoxifylline）化学名为3,7-二氢-3,7-二甲基-1-（5-氧代己基）-1H-嘌呤-2,6-二酮，白色针状结晶。熔点105℃。易溶于水、苯、乙醇、氯仿，微溶于乙醇。无臭，味苦。分子式为C13H18N4O3，分子量为278.30700，密度为1.31g/cm3，熔点为98-100°C，沸点为531.3ºC at 760mmHg。
己酮可可碱（pentoxifylline，PTX）是从可可豆中提取的可可豆碱、再引入已酮基而得到的一种生物碱，是一种非选择性磷酸二酯酶抑制剂。
