差异风化又称差别风化、选择风化,是指在地面出露的、同时存在的抗风化性能不同的岩石,因风化、剥蚀程度的不同,在形态上表现出凹凸不平或参差不齐的现象。如北京市昌平县的龙山地区, 震旦系岩层中抗风化性强的石英岩形成凸起的山脊,而抗风化性弱的页 岩则形成低凹的山鞍,构成差异风化现象十分明显的参差不齐的地貌。
