密封钢丝绳（locked coil steel wire ropes)是结构紧密、表面平滑，密封性能好的一种特殊单捻钢丝绳，以普通单捻圆股钢丝绳为绳芯，外包一层或若干层异形钢丝捻制而成。直径为20～70mm，按照钢丝表面状态，包括磷化涂层密封钢丝绳、镀锌密封钢丝绳和光面密封钢丝绳。
