寄售(consignment) 是一种有别于通常的代理销售的贸易方式。它是指由寄售人(委托人或货主) 先将准备销售的货物运往国外寄售地，委托当地的代销人(受托人) 按照寄售协议规定的条件，由代销人代替寄售人在当地市场上进行销售。货物售出后，再由代销人按协议规定的方式与寄售人结算货款的一种贸易方式。
