实践社团（Community of Practice，缩写为CoP）由哈佛大学教授Etienne Wenger在1998年正式提出，其他译法还包括知识社群、实务社群、实践社群等。 实践社团就是有着同样的目标，同样的工作或者同样的兴趣的一群人，组成一个非正式的团体，通过在不断发展的基础上相互影响，就他们共同关注的问题进行讨论，从而促进知识共享，加深某一领域的知识和专业技术。
