宗爱，生卒年不详，北魏大宦官，官至大司马、大将军、太子太师领中秘书，封冯翊王。因获罪而成为阉人，在太武帝时任中常侍。后与太子拓跋晃的属官不和，就罗织罪名致使拓跋晃忧愤而死。拓跋晃死后，太武帝非常悼念，宗爱怕祸及自己，就弑杀了太武帝，立太武帝幼子拓跋余为帝，后又杀拓跋余。文成帝即位后，诛杀宗爱，夷其三族。
