学习方式（learning style）是指个体在进行学习活动时所表现出的具有偏好性的行为方式与行为特征。反映个体学习活动中的个体差异。与个体的性格及学习习惯有关。有多种不同类型，主要有：（1）沉思型与冲动型。前者在思考之后做出反应；后者则凭直觉立即做出反应，易出错。（2）场独立型与场依存型。前者较少受外界刺激干扰，独立学习；后者易受外界因素干扰，难以独立学习．具有依赖倾向。（3）平稳型与敏锐型。前者习惯于以常规方式学习、思考问题，长于守成，短于创新；后者倾向于做新的尝试，思想灵活，反应敏锐。（4）冒险型与谨慎型。前者喜欢新奇，敢于冒险，力求成功倾向占优势；后者则是避免失败倾向占优势。（5）认知繁化型与认知简化型。前者倾向于全面、细致考察事物，力求面面俱到，但不易抓住重点；后者倾向于以点概面，易受表面因素影响，不易触及问题深处。
