孔版印刷又叫丝网印刷，即采用丝网做版材的一种印刷方式。具体的方法是在印版上制作出图文和版膜两部分，版膜的作用是阻止油墨的通过，而图文部分则是通过外力的刮压将油墨漏印到承印物上，从而形成印刷图形。其原理为：在平面的板材上挖割孔穴，然后施墨，使墨料透过孔隙漏印到承印物上。孔版印刷的范围广泛，可以用此种方法制作版画作品，亦可用于生活用品和工业用品的包装印刷。比如说我们常见的汽车上的字体的印刷、外包装盒上的图文的印刷等等，大多都是采用孔漏版的印刷方式。孔版在中文中亦称透版、模版，日文中称型纸，合羽版。
