姚新 1978年考入中国科大少年班，1982年获中国科大学士学位，1985年在北京华北计算技术研究所获硕士学位，1990年获中国科大理学博士学位。
姚新秋毕业于武汉音乐学院声乐系并获美国西南德克萨斯州立大学音乐硕士。
